I’m told that Spring has sprung. Well, not in my neck of the woods. It’s as cold as can be and looking like winter for me! It’s a little on the rainy side too. This type of weather makes me want to curl up on the couch under a blanket, snuggle with my adorable dog, and watch a Lifetime movie! When it comes to food, I just want to throw some things in a pot or a slow cooker and let it do its thing while I watch my shows!
I mean, who doesn’t love days like those? Lazy days are the best. Those days always call for yummy comfort food that sticks to the ribs. The first thing that comes to mind is soup. It’s delicious, filling, and warms up. Oh and I almost forgot the best part, you can throw it in a pot and let it cook on it’s own. Perfect!
What kind of soup is the question? During these colder months, I like a nice hearty soup that fills me up! My go to chunky soup is a scrumptious potato soup. This soup is a perfect meal. It’s creamy and filling. An entire meal in a bowl!
