Ever since I was a little girl, I remember going to the mall with my grandma. We had a routine in which we would go to the mall to shop or just hang out once a week. That was a fun day for me because not only was I able to go out with her, but I did not have school that day (I was homeschooled, so although I skipped school that day, I definitely made up for it another day)!
It was a treat that I looked forward to every week, not only for those reasons mentioned above but because my grandma always bought me a little something and we also go to eat lunch out as well as a really yummy dessert! One thing we had every single time we went to the mall was an afternoon snack of churros and hot chocolate (well the hot chocolate was for me, she always had a shot of espresso!).
Many times we had the plain kind, but every now and then, she was in a fancy mood and chose the dulce de leche stuffed churros. My oh my, those were just scrumptious and my absolute favorite… that is until I discovered Nutella stuffed churros.
