The Crust On This Baked Ham Will Make Your Mouth Water!

My family and I were enjoying homemade pizza one night when my husband voiced out a question: “Why is there a crust for pizza?” I looked at him strangely as if he just grew a big head. He shook his head and further explained his question. He said he knew what it was for per se, but he was talking about it in a subjective point of view. He was asking me for my opinion and it wasn’t a tricky question. I told him crust gives pizza that edge; and it makes pizza easier to eat because you can put your hand on the crust without ruining the toppings. “True,” was all he said. Sometimes I still can’t fathom how that man’s mind works.

Anyway, I started talking about crust because of this baked ham recipe with an extraordinary crust. I made this recently for a special occasion and it surprised me. The crust is a combination of salty, creamy, and tangy- it’s the perfect armor for the ham.

When you take a bite of the ham, you will have that crunchy feeling in your mouth at first. Then you will be attacked by the burst of flavors that you don’t even imagine as something possible. This baked ham recipe is special- you will not get enough of it.
