How do you describe a good ribs recipe? For me, the ribs should be flavorful and have that amazing smoky flavor. Of course, they should be fall-off-the-bone tender- no one wants tough ribs. One of my uncles once said: “Never marry a man who doesn’t know how to cook his ribs tender.” I am not sure up to now if that has an underlying meaning to it, but if he means it literally, then I am glad my husband knows how to cook his ribs.
Speaking of my husband, he has been craving for a ribs recipe the past few days. I finally relented one weekend and made him the spiciest and sweetest ribs recipe he has ever tasted in his life. If you ask me if he appreciated it- he did.
The ribs recipe that I made for him came from Cooking On The Weekends. It is the perfect combination of spicy and sweet. While that’s a normal combination when it comes to ribs, this one has a little kick to it that differs from most ribs recipe.
You have to try making it for your family so you will get what I mean. It couldn’t be described by mere words- you have to taste it. One thing is for sure though- you will love this recipe as much as my family did.
