Dig Your Way Into The Flavory Goodness Of This French Onion Mushroom Casserole

I love Spring because it’s sort of the combination of summer and winter. It’s beautiful, with the flowers all starting to bloom. It offers good days too, with the sun out for people to enjoy, reminding me of summer. At the same time, it still has that cold breeze, which reminds me of winter. While I love the concept of summer itself, I never liked the heat- and that’s what summer is all about isn’t it?  On the other hand, I love winter so much. So I do get the best of both worlds during Spring.

I get to experiment with food too during Spring. It has all the amazing food that you can enjoy. Even desserts are a bit more flexible during Spring.

This French onion mushroom casserole recipe is not really what you can call Spring food (I think you can eat this all year long), but I do think it’s perfect for this season. It can warm you up and has that small hint of freshness on it. My family loves this dish so much that they often request for me to make this.

This can be a perfectly complete meal. It’s heavy enough to satisfy your hungry stomachs, but still light enough if you want something to eat with it. Sometimes I serve this as a side dish whenever we have chicken on the menu.

It’s up to you how you want to serve this and eat this. One thing’s for sure- you will definitely fall in love with this.

Quick Tip: You must let the sauce thicken properly.  If you add a thickener, but don’t let it bubble, you will not see what consistency you’ve reached.
