I consider muffins as comfort food. Sometimes, I make a batch and just keep them tightly covered in the pantry. Anytime that my sons go hungry, I can just snatch a couple and serve them to my sons along with their glasses of milk. It’s comforting to see them content, nibbling on the muffins happily like they don’t have a care in the world. Those smiles are my reward everyday, which is why I do everything I can to see them perfectly etched on those cute faces.
My sons love apples very much. Unlike me, they can eat apple for days and not get tired of it. I always try to make desserts with their favorite fruits on it so that I can hit two birds with one stone- a touch of something healthy in there and their enjoyment.
I usually make apple pie or apple cobbler. I have my own recipe which I got from my Mom, and it has always been a hit with the family. But sometimes, I feel like doing something different; and this recipe is the perfect one to make.
