What are some of the desserts that make you happy? In our home, any type of cheesecake will make my family happy in an instant. We just love anything that tastes like cream so there’s always a mini celebration going on whenever there is cheesecake at the table. A slice is always enough to put a smile on everyone’s faces. Then a little later, we just find ourselves laugh. That is what I call the cheesecake effect!
Every weekend, I always try to ask my family what they want for dessert. Well, in case of my kids, I enumerate the ones I have in mind and allow them to choose. If the kids didn’t want anything, the dad decides.
Most of the time, they just allow me to surprise them. It’s a bit of a challenge that I couldn’t say no to. Because a mother always tries to please her family.
But my family is really not that hard to please. I can make them a simple doughnut with cream cheese frosting, and they will hail me as a hero better than Wonder Woman. But it’s me who always wants the best for them.
This snickerdoodle cheesecake is an ideal one to serve to a family such as mine. It’s simple to make, but it really offers an extraordinary taste. That cinnamon touch is enough to make this a brilliant dessert!
