My husband and I were never huge on spicy foods. We really just did not enjoy it much and stayed away from it as much as possible. Every time something was even mildly spicy, I would just leave it on the side. It was not very appetizing to me. But after years of putting that aside, I realized how much I was missing out on.
We were recently at our local county fair when we saw a little Indian food booth. It smelled sooooo good whatever was being cooked in there. WE knew it would likely be full of spice, but we decided the smell was too good to pass up.
Well, when we got to the cart, they were preparing little cups full of ultra spicy corn. It had veggies, a little broth to soak it all in, jalapenos and loads of corn. The corn was roasted so it was a bit toasty and a beautiful golden brown color.
It really looked amazing so we decided to give it a try. We ordered their smallest size and a big bottle of water. We both took a bite at the same time and were amazed. Yes, it was extremely spicy, but it was so delicious, too!
