One of my family’s favorite citrusy recipe is the lemon poppy seed cake. Whenever my husband and I have a date over at our favorite cafe, we usually order a slice of lemon poppy seed cake and pair it off with coffee or tea, depending on our mood. Our favorite cafe has the most moist and aromatic lemon poppy seed cake ever and we couldn’t get enough of it. We bring home a full cake sometimes and it doesn’t last too long.
My mom has taught me a recipe for lemon poppy seed cake, but I rarely make it. All of my culinary knowledge came from home experiences, so there are a lot of dishes I couldn’t really cook the right way no matter how hard I try. And there are just some cakes that do not like me so they don’t turn out so well whenever I make them.
However, just recently, I found this slow cooker lemon poppy seed cake recipe. It’s far less complicated than how my Mom makes it so I was able to do it quite good. My family is so in love with it that they always request for me to make it ever since they first tasted it.
There’s nothing better than the feeling of seeing your family love your attempts to make them happy. So if you want a copy of this recipe, please head on over to the next page! Enjoy the amazing taste and the super nice smell of this cake recipe.
