5-Ingredient Recipes, #2
There’s Nothing Better Than An Easy, Cheesy Chicken Recipe! This has got to be one of the easiest chicken recipes I’ve ever tried. With only five ingredients (that you’ll most likely already have in your kitchen) you can create a meal that your whole family will love. Even the kids!
The flavor of the onion is not overpowering at all, and that cheese? It’s pure heaven. This recipe is going straight to my special box of favorites – and it’s not easy to get there, believe me! If you’re not a big fan of Swiss cheese, you can always replace it with your favorite kind.
Ingredients
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 10.5-oz. can French Onion Soup
1 cup croutons
2 Tbsp Bertolli olive oil
4 slices Swiss cheese
Instructions:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.
Add chicken and cook each side for 3-4 minutes until browned.
Add the french onion soup and cook for another 4-5 minutes on each side. Add the croutons after you flip the chicken. Cook until chicken is white all the way through.
When chicken is fully cooked, add a slice of swiss cheese to the top of each chicken breast. Turn off heat and allow swiss to melt over the chicken.
