These puff pastries are so light and fluffy!
I love appetizers. Oh goodness, it is such a hassle for me because I also really love a good meal. I mean, a home cooked Italian meal of spaghetti and meatballs or pasta Alfredo, or even just frozen ravioli covered in gooey cheese. They all are delightful to me, but sometimes I cannot even get to that because I fill up on appetizers. But I will tell you, I do not waste my calories on any ol’ appetizer. It has got to be delicious, and very tasty for me to stick by its side.
Well, every Christmas, my mom makes multiple types of appetizers. I have always been a fan of her baked brie and apricot jam inside of a puff pastry. Classic, easy, and pretty, I used to stand by it all night and chip away at it.
Well, this past Christmas she served up another appetizer. You see, she always makes Spinach Artichoke dip for parties, but this time, she did not change the dip, she just changed the way she served it, and I was mind blown. Everyone was all over them and could not get over how classy and elegant they looked. These were a hit!
