For every holiday morning, I try to make something yummy for my kids and my husband.
I’m not much of a baker, but I usually try and have something sweet for them to choose from. Who doesn’t like dessert for breakfast? I think it really adds to the great memories that my kids will take with them when they get older, and hopefully, they carry them on to share with their kids when they have them.
When I came across these French breakfast puffs, I knew that we had to try them out. It wasn’t even a special occasion, except we were all going to be home for breakfast. I woke up a little earlier than everyone else and followed the recipe that I had found on The Pioneer Woman. It was so simple to make and the smell was amazing.
Soon my sleepy-eyed, crazy-haired kids starting stumbling into the kitchen. When I set these down in front of them, they started asking what the special day was. “Nothing just wanted to try these out.” My daughter has already requested them for her birthday breakfast! I think that means they are a hit.
