Crock Pot Pineapple Ham – One Of Life’s Little Pleasures

My grandma probably loved the ham the most. She was simply amazed that the whole thing could be done in a crock pot. The lid wouldn’t fit mind obviously with a great big ham in there. Instead I wrapped the whole thing in aluminum foil to keep the heat in. It’s important not to check on it too often because the heat will escape and you are going to require more time to cook it. Otherwise, this is a huge time and mess saver!

Just reading those words makes my mouth water for a nice juicy piece of ham. Yum!

Ingredients

1 Pre-cooked ham (full or half)

2 Cans Dole pineapple

1 C Domino brown sugar

6 C water

Instructions

Tie ham with dental floss to keep it together and place in crockpot. Add 2 cans of pineapple, juice and all.

In a large bowl I add the brown sugar and HOT water, mix and add to crockpot.

Warm it up over an hour, or cook it on warm all night.

Super moist, sweet delicious ham that you don’t spend all day in the oven! If you really like that hardened glaze, place it in the oven uncovered at 350 for about 20 min.
