Cherry Pineapple Holiday Fluff – Santa’s Favorite Sweet Treat!

This fluffy and fruity salad is so pretty to look at. I like to place mine in one of those colored glass bowls that everyone’s grandma has. Guess where I got mine? You got it! Grandma’s personal collection. She left me all of her fancy dishes from her China cabinet after she passed on. Every time I fill one of her bowls with a dessert like this salad it feels like I’m enjoying a treat with grandma. Such wonderful memories food and dishware can bring about 🙂

Oh, I definitely trust you on that one! This has become one of the favorite recipes in my house, not only because it looks so pretty and inviting but also because it is so simple to make, any day of the week.

Ingredients

1 8 oz container Cool Whip (I use lite)

1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk (I use fat-free)

1 21 oz can cherry pie filling

1 20 oz can Dole crushed pineapple, well drained

2 cups mini marshmallows

1 cup shredded coconut (unsweetened or sweetened is fine)

½ cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions:

Combine Cool Whip, condensed milk, pie filling and pineapple in a large bowl.

Fold in the mini marshmallows, shredded coconut and shopped pecans.

Refrigerate for one hour before serving.
