Hello, everyone! I hope you are all doing well this morning. So, some exciting news. I found the best cake recipe in the world!
Well, in my opinion anyway, but I think you’ll soon be agreeing with me. Even though I was not born in the 1950’s I can just imagine a pretty little housewife making this German chocolate cake for her husband and children and perhaps a few slices to share with her neighbor. The best part is, these days it’s a lot quicker and easier to make this, because of cake mixes!
I do like to use fresh ingredients from scratch occasionally, but I have to admit I rarely have time for that these days. That’s why this recipe is such a great option. You always have time for making this! Go get your apron on and make this fabulous German chocolate sheet cake – and just double the recipe if you’d like to turn it into a layer cake, like I did. More cake, more topping – sounds good to me!
