Hunker Down To Watch Those Scary October Movies With Yummy Italian Snails

We recently went to a friend’s house for a dinner party.

We were pretty excited to be getting out of the house, and it didn’t really matter what the reason was. It was always a good time going to visit our buddies that we used to hang out with every weekend before kids, jobs, and lives took over. They were having a few other friends of ours over too so it was going to be a good night. When we first walked in, I was hit with the most amazing smell of Italian food cooking up.

I love Italian, so the smell is one that I recognize every time. Then, I went to the kitchen to check and see if my friend needed any help. She had these pinwheels just coming out of the oven piping hot and they looked amazing. “Where did you learn how to do that?!” She told me that she had made them a little while earlier.

“Me and the hubby at this whole serving ourselves!” Oh man, I knew they were going to be good. I stole one before anyone knew they were out so I could be guaranteed to get one! They were the first things to disappear that night. Before we disappeared, I was sure to get a copy of that recipe. I make them at home all the time now.

Quick Tip: Mozzarella can also be used instead of Italian cheese.
