Little Yummy Nuggets Of Bacon Wrapped Chicken – The PERFECT Appetizer!

My kids go nuts for these things. I normally can’t get them to eat chicken unless it comes out of a drive-thru window or its covered in deep fried breading in the shape of a nugget. These they pop in their mouths one right after the other. I usually only have one problem when making sweet chicken bacon wraps and that’s the fact that we run out. Now that my kids are growing, I try to at least double up on these ingredients and go for a bigger batch. Then I sit back and hope I can get at least one!

It’s like an explosion of flavor in your mouth. You’re going to love it!

Ingredients

4 chicken breast halves, skinless and boneless
1 lb Hormel bacon
1 c bottled Sweet Baby Ray’s chicken wing sauce or your favorite
2/3 c Domino brown sugar, firmly packed
2 Tbsp chili powder
dash(es) or two of cayenne pepper

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350º. Wash and clean the chicken breast. Pat dry. Now cut into bite size pieces about 1″ cubes. Place in a bag, add the chicken wing sauce, close bag. Place in refrigerator for 1 hour.
Remove the chicken and wrap with bacon, secure with a toothpick. Now mix the brown sugar, chili powder and cayenne pepper in a pie plate and mix together.
