Crock Pot Cheese Potatoes – Creamy And Tender

Potatoes are my absolute favorite food. 

Ever since I was little, my mom would make me mashed potatoes for lunch and I would beg to eat them for breakfast and dinner as well.  It was just such a smooth and delicious taste and I could not get enough.  Apparently my sisters hated it so my mom had to make it just for me, but I never lacked potatoes.  My mom made it for me almost daily. I enjoyed them and now I have passed on my love of potatoes to my husband.

Nowadays, when I really want some potatoes, I go to Wendy’s and get a baked potato fully loaded.  All that cheese, bacon and sour cream is just what I love on my potatoes.  Oh, and let’s not forget the sprinkle of chives.  Since I love potatoes so much, I am always looking for new ways to cook them and enjoy them. I have tried whipping mashed potatoes in my Kitchenaid mixer and boy are they good (give them a try, it is so easy!), and now I have found this recipe for cheesy scalloped potatoes.  They are the perfect holiday side dish and it needs to be at your next dinner party.
