A Pie You Can Eat For Dinner? Yusssss!

I know I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again; I love chicken!

It’s one of my favorite ingredients, not only because of its taste but because it’s low-fat and quite inexpensive, too. This time I was looking for something a bit different. It feels like I’ve tried every possible chicken soup and casserole recipe in the world (well, I’m sure I haven’t – although I’ve tried many) and there are times when you just want to surprise your family with something new.

As soon as I came across this recipe, I knew this was it. There’s something so very comforting about a savory pie, don’t you agree? Just a few basic ingredients, nothing too fancy – and yet, the taste is so incredible it makes you feel like you’ve brought something home from a high-end bakery.

This hearty chicken pie is so filling on its own, you barely need anything to go with it.
