One day I will put up a sign in front of my house bearing the words “Day Care”.
My friends who are too busy always bring their kids to my house just because they know I mostly work from home. They will pick up their kids at the end of the day. And while I love kids, there are really moments when you don’t know how to handle them. Sometimes they’re too energetic. Sometimes, they looked like it’s the end of the world. Sometimes they’re too quiet and too behaved.
I loved the last two. I don’t have a problem dealing with silence and sadness. Usually, I just give them something to do since I have a lot of pens and papers at home.
It’s a different thing though when they’re too energetic or throwing tantrums. They’re harder to handle if they’re in that mood. Last time, little Irvin was brought to my house, and I had a bit of a hard time.
He is usually one of those who’re really behaved most of the time. But for some reason, that day, he was in a bad mood. So when his mother left, he started throwing a mini tantrum.
He started crying and just hating on Batman and Spiderman and I didn’t know why! The best thing I could do was to serve his dessert which would lift his mood up. And I remembered this recipe that I found over at Facebook.
A mousse that I could make in just a minute. Thank goodness it worked! He happily ate it and just behaved the rest of the day. I didn’t know what I would do if I didn’t have this recipe ready.
