Cheesecake is always the subject of contempt in my family.
We are divided in half over who makes the best cheesecake. Thanks to this past Christmas dinner, I am now a runner-up in the best cheesecake baker in our family competition. I did not know what to make and how I can outdo my cousin (the cheesecake champion for eight years in a row now), but I knew I had to do something. Naturally, I consulted with my neighbor Anne.
Anne is someone who makes things just for fun at any time of day. You can enter that girl’s house at noon or midnight and she has a mess in the kitchen, something simmering on the stove and some delightfulness baking up in the oven.
There is not a day that goes by that I do not get a sample of her delectable treats. She knows what she is doing and how to impress and has made countless recipes of the same food so I asked her for her best cheesecake recipe and she sprung this one on me: cheesecake bites. Yep, you read that right. Little bites of luscious deliciousness that give you the idea that you are floating on a cloud of heaven.
