I love spicy chicken. I also love waffles. I have heard the term chicken and waffles before, but I never quite understood how the two would taste together.
When I saw this recipe on the web for spicy chicken and waffle bites, I was more than just interested. I would say that I was intrigued. I liked the idea that they were just little bites. That way, if I, or someone else that I made them for, didn’t care for them, we wouldn’t be wasting a ton of food with the full-sized version.
I made these for a potluck dinner about a week later, and they were easier than they looked. Honestly, the first time I looked at the directions I was pretty confused. Once I started though, it all went fairly smoothly.
This recipe was a big favorite among the whole crowd. They loved the combination of savory and sweet. I think I passed out 20 copies of the recipe that day. I’m always happy to share when I find a treasure like this one!
