My best memories as a child all involve staying at my grandparents’ house for a one week vacation.
We rarely saw them and my grandfather as they lived four hours away from where we lived. So when we visited them, our parents had always made sure that we would stay for at least a week. It had always made my grandmother happy because she would get to spend a few days with us. But not only that, my grandmother loved to cook for a large group of people, but she mostly loved to cook for us.
My grandmother’s specialty was her chocolate-covered strawberry cake. She always made one just for us. She always picked the freshest strawberries from the market. Those juicy strawberries combined with the bittersweet taste of chocolates made my whole vacation worth it. A couple of weeks ago after such craving for strawberries, I searched online and found a recipe close to that of my grandmother’s. I am sure that you will love it as much as I do.

Quick Tip: Skip the dipped strawberries and just serve a fresh strawberry for each serving.
