The tastiest casserole I’ve made in a long while!
My husband so nicely called me to let me know on his way home from work that he was bringing a few guests home with him. A couple of the guys that he does construction jobs with were going to be joining us for dinner. Well, thanks for the heads up honey. He does this all the time actually. That’s why I am always prepared. I keep the ingredients for all different dishes on hand, but this casserole is one that I know is going to satisfy I hungry group of guys after a hard day on the job.
It’s one of the easiest dishes to put out on the table too actually. I’m so happy that I found it on NeighborFood a while back. We have eaten it a few times a month since then I think. This particular night, I paired it with a salad and bread, just because I didn’t want anyone to leave hungry.
This is one of those casseroles that reheats so nicely the next day, so you don’t have to worry about making too much. The leftovers are always just as good if not better than when you served it fresh.
