I remember going to the state fair as a little girl and getting a delicious caramel apple to munch on. Back when I was little, they weren’t all that expensive. A couple of dollars at most. Nowadays, you can expect to pay at least a twenty dollar bill by the time you park, pay admission, walk through the gates, and hit your favorite stand. It seems a little out of control, but that’s just the way things are now. Not that I will ever stop going of course. I love that place.
Anyways, there are times throughout the year that I want that yummy flavor when I can’t find a state fair to go to. Thankfully, I found this recipe on The Girl Who Ate Everything. It has done the trick ever since.
Whenever I get that craving for a caramel apple, I just whip up a batch of these tasty bars. What’s great about these, is there is plenty to go around, so you can share with all your friends!
