Ahhh… family game night. More competitive in my house than any organized sport any of the kids play, or any one that me or my husband ever were a part of. We aren’t those parents that “let” their kids win just to make them feel good. They have to work for their win, and they do. It seems like we are the ones that are working way harder for the win actually. Standard to family game night is a slew of yummy snacks and appetizers. That’s my job.
I love to try out new things and my family loves to sample them. It keeps everyone happier and focused on the game too I think if they have full bellies. These jalapeno poppers from All Recipes are one of my favorites.
They are a little bit of work to put together but they are so worth the wait. We do family game night on Saturdays so I start these in the afternoon and then they are ready to go when we are ready to play.
