It was a holiday weekend and we were traveling across the state to go and stay with my Aunt Peggy for a few days. The kids always love going to her house. She lives right near the lake, so they get to swim, play in the sand, and just enjoy some fun in the sun. I’m not going to lie, I love it too. It’s so relaxing to be there out by the water. Aunt Peggy always takes care of everything while we are there. I barely have to lift a finger which is a nice bonus.
She cooks all the meals, or takes care of setting up reservations at the restaurant, whichever we feel like doing. Last time we went it was so nice out, I didn’t want to leave my spot in my beach chair.
Auntie said that was fine and disappeared into the kitchen. At dinner time, she came out with this bruschetta chicken bake that looked like it came from a fine dinning establishment. It was just like this recipe from All Recipes, and it was incredible.
