When my husband and I got married, we were going to do things differently. Instead of spending a ton of food on a forgettable meal, we wanted to do things our way. Our first day was a trip to a pizza joint in town, and that’s where we went on many more dates after that. So, it was settled very early on… we were going to have pizza at our outdoor wedding. There was going to be a huge buffet line of all different kinds of pies… as far as the eye could see was the plan in fact.
We had it catered in of course, because who’s making all those pizzas. I wanted to have something a little bit more than that though. We did up a nice fresh garden salad to go along with everyone’s favorite slice, and I had my mother-in-law, the amazing cook, whip up some of this pizza dip.
There was actually an individual container on every single table along with a basket of fresh breadsticks, and it was awesome to say the least. We got tons of compliments on our idea… I think it was perfect for us!
