My son had just finished up his annual baseball tournament. Ever since he was in t-ball, they did a weekend long tournament that all the teams participated in. It’s a long weekend, but they have some fun and get some practice in so that’s nice. It’s a fundraiser for the teams too as they have to pay a small fee to be a part of it. It’s better than going door-to-door selling candy bars or cookies I’ll tell you that much. This year, his team did really well. They didn’t win, but came close.
They were all exhausted by Sunday night, and I knew that the parents were too. So, as a little treat, I had this great big slow cooker of spaghetti bolognese sauce going at home that I saw on Spend With Pennies.
Everyone came over for a nice hearty meal of that, some salad, and some garlic bread. It was a great way to wrap up the weekend. There wasn’t even that much of a mess either because everything was done in the crock pot so that was nice too.
