My mother called me one day and asked what I thought about having a surprise party for my grandma’s 85th birthday. I thought it was a fantastic idea! I don’t think we have ever had a surprise party for her before so I was really excited to do this for her! She was going to absolutely love seeing all of her beloved family and friends all in the same room!
My grandma may be 85 years old but she certainly is not an old lady by any means. She is very active and full of life. She might be more active than I am. This woman loves to run 5ks. A few months ago she ran this color 5k where they through these color bombs at you! She looked like a rainbow had melted all over her! It looked like a lot of fun! We are always cheering my granny on something!
I was thinking of what I make. I know that we were going to have a cake of course, but I knew that my grandma did not like the traditional cake. I know what her favorite it! My grandma loves banana pudding cake so I found a fantastic recipe!
The surprise party went over so well! She was so happy to see everyone and was certainly surprised. She loved this banana pudding poke cake! She had three pieces! I have never seen my grandma have three pieces of anything!
