My daughters school was having a find raiser for such a great cause. One of her classmates had been ill for quite some time and medical bills are so expensive. I really felt for this family and was happy that the school decided to do this fund raiser. The school was going to do a giant bizarre. I was in charge of the bake sale! Which is right up my alley!
I gathered all of the parents that were donating goods. We had a pretty fantastic turn out of parents that were donating baked goods. I was so happy to see that people were really stepping up to help make this bake sale and bizarre a success. I had every baked good that you could think of. But I still needed to think of something to make myself.
I thought about it and I decided on making these yummy hazelnut chocolate truffle balls! I had made them one other time and forgot how easy they were! These little truffles were such a major hit at the bake sale. I sold out of them immediately and was really happy to report that everything sold out! People were giving so generously that I didn’t care what baked goods sold. These truffles definitely caught everyone’s attention!
