Winter is finally over and we were done with the terrible driving conditions which restricted us from doing things outside. My daughter was so happy because I promised her she could have sleep over as soon as the weather cleared up. She made sure to remind me that the weather was fine and that it was time to have her friends over for a fun night of games and gabbing!
I was happy to have this sleep over. I know that this winter had been harsh and long. It was time for us to have some fun instead of the boring old stuff from the past few months. We had some games mapped out that we were going to play and we thought of a good movie that we could watch. The next step was to think of what snacks we were going to have.
My daughter thought of a few and I had a great idea that I wanted to surprise the girls with. Who doesn’t love eating cookie dough? I found a terrific recipe for edible cookie dough. When I told the girls, they were so excited! They got to eat more than just licking off of the spoon for once! This is such a fun recipe that I was so happy to make her sleep over that much more special.
