Every Easter my favorite aunt comes to town for a visit. I love spending time with her! She has lived such a fun adventurous life and has so many wonderful stories to tell me. I could go on and on about the stories she has told me. All I have to do is ask her one question and we take off on a flight of stories! It is one of my favorite things that I look forward too!
Other than the conversation that we have I also have another favorite thing about my wonderful aunt. She loves to make this awesome classic casserole. I literally look forward to this yummy dish all year long. I have made it myself but it just tastes so much better when my aunt makes it. She has that magic touch that just makes everything taste and feel better!
Her cheesy chicken, broccoli, and rice casserole is so amazing that I had to finally get the recipe from her. I held off on it because I wanted to look forward to it all year long. But I finally gave in. I am not the only one that loves this yummy casserole. Our entire family looks forward to this fantastic dish. We all only get it once a year from her and we love it!
