My husband plays horseshoes in the summer time. Now, if you know anything about people that play horseshoes, you know that they get pretty dedicated to it. They are so dedicated in my town in fact, that they started up a horseshoe league. Of course, my husband is the captain of his team. That means, once or twice a week, his buddies, or teammates, are coming over to our house to practice. We have what I hear is the perfect setup for practicing.
That means that I have four big men working up an appetite in my backyard a couple times a week. My husband likes to entertain, so he thinks that we should provide them with a meal when they are there.
I love to cook, so it’s really no problem for me. Especially when I find a winning recipe like this one for pork chops. I make this all the time all summer long. The guys love them.
