We had finally come to the end of what seemed like an endless baseball season. Our boys worked their hearts out on that field, and their hard work paid off. They ended up taking first place and it was a pretty proud moment for all of the parents. As the boys celebrated their final win, we were planning a small gathering to show them how proud we were. One of the parents owned a large building in town, so we were going to go there to enjoy a potluck dinner the following week.
I had no idea what to take as far as a side dish, so I decided to go with the crowd favorite, a dip. I just wasn’t sure which one to make. I had a whole box full of recipes, so I let my son pick. After all, it was his party.
He picked this yummy green chili dip that I had found on All Recipes. I had made it a few times before and he loved it. It was the right choice, because the rest of the team and the parents all loved it too. That was a great way to wrap up the season for sure.
