I love potatoes. I feel like I could eat potato anything. I never met a potato that I didn’t like! I could go on and on about my love for potatoes and all of the thing that you can do with them….and I will. It’s almost like a safe food for me. Sometimes I go through phases where I don’t care to eat to much meat. I usually lean towards eating more potato dishes in that case.
Every meal that I make has some sort of potato side dish. I don’t really think of potatoes as the veggie dish. I don’t think many people do to be honest. It’s like you have your meat dish, potato dish, and your veggie dish. I usually go for creamy mashed potatoes, but lately I have really been into scalloped potatoes. My mother used to make them all the time and I recently got into the habit for making them.
I really love this recipe for scalloped potatoes in the crock pot. It’s so easy to make! It really tastes so delicious and all you have to do is throw in the ingredients and let it cook in the crock pot. I mean how easy is that! I am a busy woman so any time savers are A-OK in my book! Try out this recipe and you will love it. It smells great when cooking and tastes even better.
