Cheap And Easy Southwestern Shredded Beef!

 

When my husband and I first got married we did not have two pennies to rub together! We were living paycheck to paycheck. We were young newlyweds with a baby on the way. I wanted to be the perfect wife and always have a hot meal on the table ready for  my hubby when he got home from work. The only problem I ran into was that our grocery budget was not exactly bountiful.

I would get creative with the food that we could afford. I am not too proud to say that I had come up with some pretty delicious ramen noodle recipes! You do what you have to do and that is that. I actually quite liked some of the food that I would make back in those days of financial struggle. I know that I am not the only one who went through this.

The smaller food budget is something we can all relate to at one time or another. One of the recipes that I loved to make back then that I still love to make even now days is this easy southwestern shredded beef. I made this quite often because I could make so many different meals out of it, which was a really big help back in those times. My hubby still loves it too!
