I have a friend that loves the movie Anchor Man with Will Ferrell. Ever heard of it? It is pretty darn hilarious. It’s one of those movies that has ridiculous humor in it, but it really funny. Well, my good friend Michael loves the movie and is always quoting movie lines every chance that he can get. Sometimes funny and sometimes just plain silly but I guess there could be worse things in life.
My husband and I were going over to Michael’s house for dinner that night. Not dinner and a movie, thankfully! LOL But we were very excited to go there because Michael is one fantastic cook. We knew that any meal that he is going to make is going to taste super delicious. Well, we were in for a hilarious and a delicious surprise when we went to his house.
He had made a dinner dedicated to his beloved movie. Will Ferrell’s character in the movie is named Ron Burgundy. Well, our main dish was called Ron Burgundy Beef Stew! It was actually a really delicious beef stew. I had never had this sort of beef stew with dry red wine before. It was definitely a hit and I left his home with that recipe in my hand!
