Every morning when I open up the fridge and pantry, I stand there for what seems like forever looking to see what I can pack in the empty lunchboxes on the counter. It’s a task that I really dread when I wake up. I want to give my children something that is good for them, but also something that they are going to want to eat. We have done the sandwiches, lunch packs, and various other foods over the years, but everything gets a little bit boring after a while.
That’s why I am always on the lookout for new recipes that will work to fill them up while they are at school. This recipe from All Recipes provided me with a shocker that I would have never thought of. I made them and let the kids try them first, before surprising them with them just in case they were a bust.
These turned into a new favorite for anyone before I even had the chance to send them in their lunch. I couldn’t believe how easy they were to put together. They packed up nicely too, and the kids all said that the were really good when they had them later in the day.
