We were planning a baby shower for my best friend’s daughter. It was going to be her first grandchild, and I was so very excited for her. I already have a few of my own, and I know what an amazing experience it is. I couldn’t wait to share the stories and situations with the person that has been the closest to me since I was in high school. Because we are so close, of course she asked me if I would help her through the planning and prep for her daughter’s big celebration party.
Since I love to cook, I told her that I would take care of the menu. She could spend her time worrying about decorations, invitations, and party games. That wasn’t my forte at all. I took a lot of precious time to go through tons of recipes before deciding what would be perfect.
This recipe from All Recipes for balsamic marinated chicken breast was going to be a huge hit, I just knew it. What woman didn’t want something like that for lunch? Delicious, and actually not too bad for you. My gut instinct was right, and this was a huge hit.
