Once a month, a group around my town meet at the local library for our monthly book club group. There is a different novel that is randomly selected each month that we read together, but separately at home, and then we join up and discuss it. It’s something that only those that love to read truly enjoy. It’s also a great way to meet knew people. That’s how I made my first friends when I moved to this new town over 10 years ago. I’m glad I joined, it’s changed my life.
At some of the meetings, a few people will bring in different snacks and various desserts for the group. There are no requirements to do so, but it allows anyone that wants to the opportunity to try out some of their favorite recipes. It’s a nice way to get some feedback if you are trying out something for the first time.
When I found this recipe for pumpkin coffee cake on All Recipes, I knew I was going to let the ladies and gents sample it for me. I got tons of positive feedback, and that’s just what I was looking for. I have a new one to add to the recipe box now!
