Whenever a large crowd of kids shows up to my house after school, which is more often than one might think, I make sure to have these on hand. I almost always have all the ingredients in the fridge already, so it’s just a matter of making them. My kids think that our kitchen is open to feed the neighborhood, so instead of letting them rip it apart, I just make them wait a few minutes until I can get these done. It’s a quick way to get everyone filled up and back outside playing.
Check out what they are saying about this recipe over at Spend With Pennies:
“If you love grilled cheese sandwiches (and who doesn’t?!) you’re going to love these just as much as I did! Cheese and bread rolled up and wrapped in crispy bacon make the most delicious lunch and the perfect dipper for tomato soup!”
These are just the right size and shape for little fingers… and big fingers love them too!
