Against everything that I wanted to do last year, I decided to have a garage sale. There had been only one other time in my life that I had done that, and I remembered how much work it was. We had accumulated so much stuff over the years though, it had to be gone through and gotten rid of. It was starting to take over our house. I knew that we were going to be in for a few long days, and I wasn’t looking forward to it at all. It had to be done though.
Thankfully, a friend of mine had brought over a breakfast casserole one early morning. By that time, I was starving. There certainly had been no time to cook or even eat. There was a little break in the crowd and people though, so I took advantage and inhaled a piece.
I don’t know if it was because I was so hungry or not, but this was the best casserole I had ever tasted. She was nice enough to leave behind the recipe too, and I saw that it could be done the night before. That’s why I use it all the time now. I think we are even going to have another garage sale this year… yikes!
