I am constantly on the search for ways to use leftovers. I have a very picky daughter that typically refuses to eat leftovers. She thinks that any food from the previous day is just gross. I, on the other hand do not like to waste food. Actually I despise wasting food. I make some pretty good meals and they taste wonderful the next day! But you can’t tell my daughter that.
Well, I have gotten better at using my leftovers. What I mean by that is I make a completely different meal with the leftovers and don’t mention that it was the meal from the previous night. I have gotten away with this only a couple of times. My daughter is pretty sharp and she tends to know if I am trying to pull one over on her!
This recipe is amazing! I made a delicious pot roast and I had a bunch of it leftover. Two of my kids were at their friends house so their was more leftovers than usually. I found this recipe and knew that it was going to be so delicious and that no one would even question if this was leftovers from yesterday! Try this with your leftovers and you will see what I mean.
