When I was just about to graduate from high school, I wanted to something special for my mom for Mother’s Day. She had already done so much for me to help me reach the point in life where I was at. Dad had suggested going out to lunch, but I knew that all the restaurants were going to be packed. My mom doesn’t like big crowds. She is perfectly comfortable sitting at home and eating take out or something homemade. I didn’t want her to have to make her own breakfast, so I went on the hunt for something to make for her.
All Recipes had this yummy looking frittata that looked like something I would be able to handle making. I went shopping all by myself and got the ingredients I needed to whip it up that Sunday. After church, Mom headed for the kitchen to make our normal Sunday breakfast, but I shooed her away.
I went to work making this tasty dish for her, and it went together quite easily. It took a little bit of time, but it really wasn’t all that long. She was so happy and thankful that she didn’t have to cook. It was worth the work to see her smile!
