In the warmer summer months, don’t look for me in front of the television or sitting in the house anywhere. I can guarantee you that I will be in the back yard. What am I doing? Whatever I can as long as I’m outside! I love to mow the grass, work in the garden, and sit on the deck and relax. I don’t even want to go in the house to cook, so the BBQ grill is pretty much always out and ready to run. Some days I don’t have as much time as others, so all I can do is toss some hot dogs on and warm them up.
Not my favorite food, but as long as I don’t have to go inside it’s okay with me. When I came across this recipe on Cravings of a Lunatic for a jazzed up version of the dog, I was super excited to try it out. I made it on a busier weekday, and it came together really quickly.
These hot dogs were incredible! Better than any I have ever had before. Now, I just keep my peppers and onions all chopped up and ready to go in the fridge. That saves even more time.
