It was time for my daughter’s end-of-the-year party at her school. She was going to be going from elementary school up to the middle school, so it was kind of a big deal. I was so excited, nervous, scared…. okay I really just wanted to throw up when she reminded me of the party. I couldn’t believe how big my baby was getting. It really was bittersweet. She asked me if I would make a dessert for the event, so of course I told her I would make whatever she wanted me to. Her request were for these s’mores treats that I had made around the holidays.
I had seen the recipe on Cravings of a Lunatic and I had to make them as soon as I saw them. They looked incredible. The instructions were fairly simple, and the ingredients list was one of the shortest I had ever seen for any dessert. When I made them back then, they went over amazingly with the whole family.
After we polished off the first pan, I had to make a second one for a family event. Big crowd-pleaser again. These are now my favorite dessert to make!

Quick Tip: Whole marshmallows can be used instead of the cream if that’s what you have.
