I was going to be having a girlfriend over for an afternoon visit with her new baby. I have a two year old and we just needed some adult time. She said that she was eating lunch before she came, and so I wanted to prepare a yummy snack for us to enjoy while we were visiting. I had my traditional standbys, but I wanted to do something different. I spent a few minutes online and that’s all that it took to get my hands on this delicious looking dip from The Recipe Rebel.
My girlfriend’s most favorite dish has always been chicken alfredo. Whenever we go out to eat, she always order it. Doesn’t matter the restaurant. You can almost guarantee that she is going to get chicken alfredo. So the dip sounded perfect for the occasion.
It went together really easily that afternoon and I pulled it out of the oven just as she was arriving with her little bundle of joy. We sat and talked for hours, and polished off this entire pan without ever stopping. I saved a little bit for my husband, and he was only upset that there wasn’t more!
