These make the ultimate after school snack. When I know that the kids had exams or lots of difficult testing one day, I always make them these for a special treat. They have a huge look of relief when they walk through the door and they know that they are going to get a nice snack for a change. When you want something besides regular pizza for dinner, try these terrific twists on for size.
Ingredients
1 roll Pillsbury refrigerated Pizza Dough
¾ cup Kraft shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup pepperoni, cut in half
2 tablespoons melted butter
½ teaspoon oregano
½ teaspoon parsley
½ teaspoon McCormick’s garlic powder
1 tablespoon parmesan cheese
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Unroll pizza dough and cut into rectangles about 2″ wide by 5″ long.
Sprinkle oregano and parsley over each rectangle, divide cheese and pepperoni over all rectangles. Gently twist each rectangle pinching the ends.
Place on a parchment paper lined pan, brush with melted butter and sprinkle parmesan on top.
Bake 15-18 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve with warm tomato or pizza sauce for dipping.
