The kids were going to be having some friends over for their annual end of the year party. Every school year, on the last day, for as long as I can remember, they have brought friends home with them. They are like their Mom in the way that they like to entertain guests at home instead of going somewhere else and being a guest. I don’t know what it is, but I think it’s just in the genes. It started with just a couple kids, but over the years it has grown into practically the entire school. Good thing we live in a small town.
I used to buy pizzas for everyone, but that was getting pretty expensive. I took some vacation time for this one, so I was going to be home for a few days to help get everything ready. This year they were going to do most of the work, I was just the assistant.
After seeing mashed potato bombs on Julie’s Eats & Treats, I offered to make them for the party. The weren’t going to turn down food by any means. I love to cook too, so it was a win-win situation.
